About the Program

Loka Yoga School has been running yoga teacher trainings in Bali since 2016 and is consistently rated among the island's best. The school operates from a stunning venue in Kedungu — a quiet beach village about 15 minutes west of central Canggu — set among rice fields and just steps from Kedungu and Pigstone surf beaches. All teachers are E-RYT certified with 15–30 years of professional teaching experience.

The 28-day curriculum is one of the most thorough in Bali, going well beyond the standard asana-anatomy-philosophy format to include yoga biomechanics, Sanskrit and mantra chanting, ecstatic dance, kirtan music, teaching children's yoga, and the business of yoga. Maximum 20 students per intake.

• Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin asana — alignment, biomechanics, and teaching methodology
• Yoga anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics in depth
• Sanskrit, mantra chanting, and puja ceremonies

• Full teaching practicum from Day 1
