Santosha Yoga Institute runs its Bali teacher trainings from Santosha Yoga Village, an open-air shala on Jungutbatu Beach, Nusa Lembongan. The school was founded by Sunny Richards, who has more than 30 years of teaching experience, and its faculty includes Rohil Jethmalani (meditation and philosophy), Andrea Abian (anatomy and postures) and Ally Griffin (asana).
The full programme is a 21-day immersion. For people with less time away, Santosha also offers 14-day and 7-day hybrid formats in which part of the 200 hours is completed online beforehand. Graduates can register with Yoga Alliance as RYT 200 teachers.
Intakes run almost every month. Upcoming dates include 1–22 December 2026, then 6–26 January, 15 February – 7 March, 6–26 April, 13 May – 2 June, 1–21 July, 13 August – 2 September, 1–21 October and 2–22 November 2027 (some intakes are waitlist only). The full 21-day course is USD $2,149, or $2,049 early bird; the hybrid formats start from $1,690. A $199 deposit secures a place, and payment plans are available.
Accommodation and meals are not included. Students choose from beach cabins, homestays and poolside bungalows within walking distance, and the on-site Ginger & Jamu café serves vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food.
