Samyama — 200-Hour Yoga & Meditation YTT, Ubud

About the Program

Samyama's 200-hour training is held at the Samyama Self Healing Centre in Banjar Kumbuh, Mas — a peaceful village of rice fields and jungle about 5–10 minutes' drive south of central Ubud. The school is known for depth over breadth: alongside daily asana, the course gives unusual weight to yoga philosophy, meditation methodology and the inner dimensions of practice, which suits students who want more than a standard certification.

The 25-day course (including arrival and departure days) includes a three-day retreat. Graduates who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as RYT 200.

Curriculum

• Hatha and Vinyasa asana — alignment, sequencing and adjustments
• Yoga philosophy — the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, Sankhya and the eight limbs
• Meditation methodology — techniques for personal practice and for teaching
• Pranayama and breath practices
• Sanskrit and mantra
• Anatomy and physiology
• Teaching practicum with structured feedback

Pricing

Non-residential tuition starts at IDR 32,000,000, with an IDR 13,000,000 deposit to reserve a place and the balance paid later. Tuition covers the training, course materials, teaching practice and certification. Residential packages may be available on request — ask the school for current room prices. Scholarships are offered.

Location

Jl. Cempaka, Br. Kumbuh, Mas, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali — about a 5–10 minute drive from Ubud town centre, with rice field walks and local warungs close by.
