About the Program

SKY Yoga & Meditation was set up to bring traditional, India-style Hatha yoga teacher training to Bali. Its 200-hour course is deliberately academic and practice-heavy rather than fitness-led: the school itself says it is not for anyone looking for a "yoga holiday". Days run from a 6.15 am detox tea to dinner at 7 pm, with Saturdays given over to anatomy and teaching methodology.

The training is held at the school's own eco-village of Balinese bamboo villas in Pejeng village, a short drive east of central Ubud. SKY is registered with Yoga Alliance (US) and Yoga Alliance International (India), so graduates can register as RYT 200.

Pricing

Prices are in euros and include the course, 23 nights' accommodation and vegetarian meals:

• Shared bamboo room: €2,550
• Treehouse (private, shared bathroom): €2,800
• Deluxe shared room: €2,900
• Open bamboo private room: €3,000
• Luxury room: €3,900
• The Suite: €4,400
• No accommodation: €2,400 with breakfast and lunch, €1,900 without food

A 10% early-bird discount applies to bookings made at least a month before the start date. A non-refundable deposit of IDR 10,000,000 (about €500) secures a place, with the balance due one month before arrival.
