Patanjali Institute runs an intensive programme that pairs a 300-hour yoga teacher training with a clinical hypnotherapy diploma, so graduates finish with two qualifications: a yoga teacher certificate and a hypnotherapy diploma certificate. The course is led by Dr Sohail Ebady, a medical doctor and yogi, and is also held in Chiang Rai (Thailand) and Hikkaduwa (Sri Lanka). In Bali, the training takes place at Puri Pandan Bungalows on the quiet beach at Candidasa, in East Bali's Karangasem regency.
The school states that its yoga teacher programme is accredited by Yoga Alliance International (YAI) — a different organisation from Yoga Alliance (USA) — and graduates can apply for YAI membership. Students who specifically need Yoga Alliance (USA) RYT registration should check with the school before booking.
Each course opens at 7.30 pm on the first day. The course fee is US $4,870, or US $4,370 with the US $500 early-bird discount if paid 40 days before the start. A US $350 deposit secures a place, with the balance due one month before the start date.
Groups are capped at 10 students so that each trainee gets individual guidance and mentoring.
